|Margo C. James|
|Full Name||Margo C. James|
|Date of Birth||April 5th 2000 (Age 15)|
|Portrayed By||Celina Martin|
Margo is depicted as a social justice warrior, who stands up for what she believes in, and isn't afraid of how people see her. She's a do it or die kind of person, who only sees two options to everything. You either do it or you don't.
When introducing herself to the class, Margo has stated that she is a transfer student because her school back in the urban areas was horrible, and that her father and mother had issues with the environment. She also states that she was raised in two room apartments for most of her life, and that she was born in Quabec Canada.
Season 1 (New Class) Edit
Is first seen when she is called up by the Sophomore home room teacher to the front of the room to give tell them about herself, since she is new here. When she begins, chuckles go throughout the room between students (dominantly males) and then Zander Hoffer points out that she doesn't have a bra on. Embarrassed Margo speaks in private to the teacher, and the teacher sends her home to go fix herself, which Margo see as unfair, while she is constantly teased by Zander. She refuses to leave, and security escorts her out of the room.
Later in the episode you can see Margo protesting outside of the school about the dress code, and female rights, trying to get students to sign a petition to revise the dress code. When the same Unnamed teacher finds out that Margo went outside to protest rather than to go home, she suggests a suspension and Margo is sent to the principal office.
In her last scene of the episode, Margo and Principal Simpson come to an agreement that he would 'look at' the dress code once again, and that she reminds him of Imogen Moreno, an alumni student of Degrassi. Margo is happy to say the least, and her final appearance in the episode is her smiling at the outcome of her actions.
